Do I need to have a PowerPoint presentation for my pitch?
You do not have to have a PPT presentation for either the initial pitch or if you make it into the final round of pitches. You will have time on Saturday to create a simple PPT or visual presentation - if your idea makes it to the final round.
What if I can't stay for the whole day?
No problem. You can communicate with your team if you can’t be there the whole time to fully participate, you will need to commit to being on a team and attending the final presentations.
Do I have to have a team to pitch?
You don't have to have a team to pitch at the Blitz, you can build one ahead of time using TeamFinder, or build one while you're there!
What if I have a team already?
Great! Everyone should register above and join in the fun and education!
Do I have to have a prototype?
You do not have to have a prototype, but if you do, feel free to bring it with you.
What if I can't make the original pitching round?
If you can't make the first round of pitches, your idea won't be eligible for the final round, but you should still come. There will be food, workshops, and networking that you can still learn a lot from.
Many teams go on to compete in the spring semester Randall Family Big Idea Competition where there is $100,000 in prize money at stake! Have you considered applying?
