This year, Pitt's Society for Women Engineers (SWE), Women in Computer Science (WiCS), Department of Computer Science, and the Innovation Institute are delighted to bring you She Innovates,  Pitt's only all-women's hackathon. The event will be held in Sennott Square on January 29th, 30th, and 31st, 2016.

The hackathon is for all Pitt students - undergraduates and graduates - with or without a computer science background. All experience levels are encouraged to register. Come for a weekend filled with hacking, technical talks, mentorship, and fun!

If you are without a team or hacking experience, don't stress! The She Innovates kick-off party will feature team formation, idea pitching, and a Q&A session for first-time hackers. We will even have mentors on site to help guide you through the hacking process! Prizes, swag and free food provided! You do not want to miss She Innovates 2016! Event start time on Friday the 29th is 6pm.
